The Hebrew High School of the Tarbuth Organisation in Bialystock has been granted public rights under an order issued by the Ministry of Education. The High School will be able to exercise these rights during the current year, and the matriculation examinations at the end of the present school year will be held in the Hebrew language.
The Bialystock Hebrew High School is the first in Poland to enjoy public rights. All other Hebrew secondary schools in Poland still have no rights. It is hoped now that the conferment of public rights on the Bialystock Hebrew school will be followed by similar action in the case of other Hebrew schools in other parts of the country.
