The Jewish Kehillas in Congress Poland, which is that part of Poland which belonged to Russia before the World War, have been ordered by the Government to held new elections within the immediate future. The order is effective only in Congress Poland, Galicia and the eastern provinces being exempted from the order. It is interesting to note that the Government has ordered elections in the section of Poland where elections were the least needed, while she did not order elections in Galicia, where the Kehillahs are appointed by the Government and in Eastern Poland, where the Jews have no Kehillahs.
