The Polish Ministry of Education has decided to convoke a conference of all teachers of the Yiddish language and literature in the country, Radio Warsaw declared in a Yiddish-language broadcast monitored here by the World Jewish Congress. The announcer said that at that conference, which will be held in Lodz next month, the teachers would hear “lectures on the international situation and would discuss proposals for implementing a program of Yiddish language and literature instruction.”
