A project aimed at outlawing Jewish slaughtering rites in Poland was drafted today by the president of the Polish Cities Union.
The project calls upon the various Polish municipalities to launch a campaign against the slaughter of cattle according to the Jewish orthodox tenets. It proposes a campaign for cuts in the budgets alloted to the Jewish shechita boards, and for making the laws more rigorous until shechita is abolished entirely.
This project will be debated at the next meeting of the Board of Polish Municipalities.
