A group of Polish-Jewish soldiers who saw action in the Libyan campaign were welcomed here last night at a reception arranged by the Federation of Polish Jews. They are part of a group of 300 Polish soldiers who arrived here this week from Russia and the Middle East.
Present at the reception were prominent Polish military leaders and the Polish consul-general in New York, Sylwin Strakacz. Both Mr. Strakacz and Benjamin Winter, president of the Federation, addressed the reception expressing the hope that victory will soon be achieved and that a free Poland with equality for all will be created.
