Polish-Jewish refugees from Nazi camps who are being sheltered here in camps for Polish citizens have encountered anti-Semitism among their non-Jewish countrymen, the newspaper Dagens Nyheter reports today.
The paper says that the Jews do not wish to return to Poland, where, they fear, they will meet the same prejudice. It urges action by international Jewish organizations to meet this problem, adding that unless Polish Jews seem reconciled to the idea of returning home when things are more settled, routes to the West and South must be opened for them.
