The grave economic situation of the Jews in Poland and the necessity of increasing relief efforts in their behalf was discussed at a conference of officers representing the Federation of Polish Jews in America and the Joint Distribution Committee, it was announced yesterday by the Federation.
The J. D. C. was represented by Paul Baerwald, David A. Bressler, Peter Wiernik, Joseph C. Hyman and Dr. Bernard Flexner. Representing the Federation were Benjamin Winter, Samuel G. Domash, Morris Gogolick and Z. Tygel.
The conference was held in the offices of the committee.
