Synagogues throughout Poland were crowded all day yesterday with Jews worshipping and fasting in protest against the bill voted by the Sejm to prohibit completely kosher slaughtering. Solemn vows to uphold kashruth were pronounced by rabbis. Two rabbis in the Prager Synagogue here pronounced an excommunication curse against Jews dealing in non-kosher meat.
