The executive of the Polish Jewish communities today called a special meeting of all Jewish deputies in the Polish Parliament to consider the serious situation created by National Radical anti-Semitic attacks against Jews.
All editors of Jewish newspapers were asked to attend the conference.
Nara attacks against the Jews in the past few weeks have resuited in serious injuries to at least two score Jews and the creation of a state of virtual terror in Polish centers where the Jews are only a fraction of the population. The attacks have been widespread, having occurred all over Poland.
In every case attacked Jews were obliged to defend themselves desperately.
