The Jewish Socialist parties of Poland will hold separate demonstrations tomorrow. Following objections voiced by the Bund, the anti-Zionist Jewish Socialist group, the Polish Socialist party arranged for the Bund to demonstrate on May Day with the Polish Socialists.
The right and left wing groups of the Poale Zion, together with the Hashomer Hazoir, will hold their own demonstration. The bund objected to marching with the Poale Zion on the ground that their slogans carried propaganda for Palestine.
Last year the right wing Poale Zion marched with the Polish Socialists, whereupon the Bund refused to march with them, and held their own parade. Both the Bund and the Poale Zion groups belong to the Second Internationale.
The National Radical party, new anti-Semitic youth group, having announced that they would break up the Socialist May Day demonstrations, Polish authorities laid down exact routes for the parades to follow, hoping to prevent clashes.
The Jewish press will not publish on May Day, although the non-Jewish papers will appear.
