A promise that Jewish education would be considered in a favorable light was made here by the Minister of Education, Waclaw Jendrzejewicz, who also announced that the recently issued new regulations for private schools would be postponed for a year, going into effect in June, 1935.
The cabinet member made his statement to Jewish Sejm deputies, with whom he had discussed the problem of the Jewish schools, especially the religious ones. Others in the group which called upon the government representative were Rabbis Levin, Minzberg and Wislicki.
