Prime Minister Josef Cyrankiewicz has informed a Jewish delegation that Jewish institutions will have no difficulty in recovering buildings and other property taken from them during the German occupation, it was learned here today.
The delegation, representing the Central Committee of Jews in Poland, raised the question of restoration of property to Jewish institutions and organizations as a result of the fact that some institutions in Lodz and other cities have not yet recovered their pre-war property.
Dr. Adolph Berman, president of the Central Committee, also reported to the Prime Minister on various other problems of Jewish life in Poland and received assurances that the government will always be ready to do all in its power to help the Jewish communities solve their problems.
