Premier Wladislas Sikorski of the Polish Government-in-exile today sent a letter to Ignacy Schwartzbart, member of the Polish National Council, expressing gratification over the expression of loyalty read at the recent conference of Polish Jews in Britain.
The Jewish offer of collaboration “is the more important to us because, as an expression of patriotism of the Polish Jews, it is a guaranty that in the future Polish and Jewish citizens of the Republic will live together in harmony based on mutual good-will,” the Premier said.
The letter followed an interview between Schwartzbart and the Premier yesterday.
