Polish Unions Hit Ban on Joint May Day Demonstration with Jews

A conference of Polish trade unions today adopted a resolution protesting against a prohibition by the authorities of a common May Day demonstration with Jewish workers in Warsaw. “No prohibitions or interference will succeed in stopping the fraternal unity of Polish and Jewish workers fighting for freedom and Socialism,” the resolution said.
