On request of the Polish Union of Jewish War Veterans, General Gorecki, president of the Polish section of the FIDAC, international veterans’ organization, today asked the FIDAC executive committee to seek the release of Captain Sigmund von Friedmann, president of the Austrian Jewish War Veterans’ Association, who is in custody of the Nazi secret police.
