A protest in the name of Polish Jewry against the recently proclaimed representative legislative council in Palestine has been adopted by a conference of all the Zionist organizations of Poland.
Simultaneously, a special meeting of the Warsaw Jewish Community assembly voted a resolution protesting against the council. The action followed a similar resolution taken last week by the executive board of the community.
The resolution of the Zionists, which was adopted unanimously, emphasized that the Jewish masses are becoming embittered by the announcement of the council and holding that the project contradicts the League of Nations mandate.
