All Zionist leader who were arrested by the Soviet authorities during the Soviet occupation of Polish cities and who were then exiled to Siberia and other distant parts of Russia, will now be released in accordance with the Russo-Polish agreement signed today. The leaders of the Bund, Jewish social-democratic party of Poland, will similarly be released.

The special protocol attached to the agreement provides that Polish citizens detained in Russia as war-prisoners, or on other grounds, are to be freed by the Soviet authorities with the resumption of diplomatic relations between Russia and Poland.

Dr. Ignacy Schwarzbard, Jewish member of the Polish National Council, today submitted to the Polish government, here, a list of several hundred names of Zionists and other Jewish leaders from Poland known to have been imprisoned in Russia. This list covers only a small number of Polish Jews who are held as political prisoners in Soviet exile. It is, however, believed that action on this list will also bring about a speedy release of all other Polish Jews in Russia.
