Political observers are comparing the speech Clinton made acknowledging an improper relationship with White House intern Monica Lewinsky to a speech Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made in 1993 in which he admitted to an extramarital affair. In that speech, the premier said he owed a debt “to my wife, my family and no one else.” He also said, “Politicians have private lives, too.”
