The policy of the Vatican towards Palestine will be definitely formulated at a secret consistory convoked by the Pope for next Monday. The main topic will be the status of the Christian Holy Sites in Palestine under the present administration. Dissatisfaction with the present conditions in Palestine have been voiced recently by Cardinals Bourne and O’Connell.
Other subjects with which the session will concern itself are the attitude of the Catholic Church toward the Anglican Church, and its relation to the Greek Catholic Church.
