Children of the five city boroughs, during the present summer vacation period, will have a safeguard against street casualties never before provided here for them, is the opinion of Grace Gosselin, assistant director of the Works Division, Department of Public Welfare.
The safeguard is in the nature of free portable theatres as well as puppet and marionette shows being given for them in playgrounds under the direction of the Drama Department of the Works Division.
