Sentencing of Walter Kauf, who was the bodyguard of Heinz Spanknoebel, on charges of carrying concealed weapons at riots here recently, was postponed yesterday by Judge Daniel J. Brennan in Essex County Common Pleas Court.
The postponement will give an opportunity to the Committee of Immigration of the House of Representatives headed by Congressman Samuel Dickstein, now conducting an investigation of Nazi affairs, to cross-examine Kauf. He will also be called to testify before the Federal grand jury of the Southern District of New York.
Sentence will be imposed December 7.
