The trial of several scores of people arrested in connection with the fire of anti-Semitic origin in the town of Borscha last July was postponed again for a fortnight.

In view of the anti-Semitic feling of the local population in Satumare, where the trial is scheduled to take place, a new strong request is now going on to obtain the removal of the court to some other city. It is therefore possible that the request will be granted and the trial will take place in the city of Zalau, where there is a small Jewish population.

Among those awaiting trial there are seventeen Jews who are still imprisoned pending the trial, which has already been postponed for the second time.
