Prague radio charged today that “Zionists are seeking to separate Jewish youth from the rest of Czechoslovak youth.” A broadcast said that “unfortunately Zionism has attracted supporters among Czechoslovak Jews.”
The commentator maintained that there was no anti-Semitism in Czechoslovakia but that the Prague Government condemns the State of Israel as “one of the aggressive instruments of Zionism” although the Government has declared its solidarity with the Israeli Communist Party. The commentator charged that Zionists were ready to criticize any kind of nationalism but that they brand critics of Jewish nationalism as racists.
