Dr. Rudolf Thomas, Jewish editor-in-chief of the Prager Tagblatt who took an overdose of sleeping potion in a suicide pact with his wife on Monday, died today. his wife was sinking fast.
Dr. Thomas said in parting messages to friends and relatives that he and his wife had decided to commit suicide in despair over the fate which has befallen german democrats in Czechoslovakia following the occupation of Sudetenland. Dr. Thomas had been working for the Prager Tagblatt, organ of German Democrats, since the age of 18.
