The much-talked of scheme of Jewish colonization work in Soviet Russia is being used as anti-Zionist propaganda by the Bolshevik press.
The “Pravda” publishes today what it terms a despatch from Kharkoff, reading, “In connection with the Government decree to allow land for Jewish settlers, a great number of applications have been received from Jews who have emigrated from Russia to Palestine: These Russian Jewish emigrants to Palestine now ask permission to return to the Ukraine, complaining of the helpless condition in which they find themselves in Palestine.
“Some applications have been received from Jewish emigrants who are now stranded in Germany, Czechoslovakia and Poland”, the despatch concludes.
