The first day of Passover was marked here today with a procession to the Wailing Wall and special prayers in all synagogues for a British victory.
The procession, a custom observed on all important Jewish holidays, was led by Sephardic Chief Rabbi Ben Zion Uziel. Fifteen thousand worshippers were in the line of march.
