Government amnesty for twenty Arabs and two Jews who were imprisoned for participating in the Palestine riots of 1929, in which many Jews were massacred by Arab mobs, is predicted in today’s Hebrew press here.
The amnesty will be declared on the occasion of the silver jubilee of the King of England, with the intention of promoting peace between Jews and Arabs.
