Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Prime Minister of Ghana. has agreed with President Gamel Abdel Nasser of the United Arab Republic that the two countries will continue to support the principles of the Afro-Asian countries adopted at Bandung. Indonesia, in April 1955 as well as to urge “a just solution of the Palestine question,” according to a statement issued here today by the UAR delegation.
Dr. Nkrumah and Col. Nasser, the UAR delegation here stated, issued their statement at the conclusion of the Ghanian Prime Minister’s state visit to Cairo. The two leaders “expressed anew their deep concern over the question of Palestine, which is a disturbing factor of world peace and security.” The joint statement also “reaffirms adherence and support” of the principles adopted at Bandung. At that parley, a resolution was adopted supporting the posture of the Arab states as against Israel.
