Premier Yitzhak Rabin has accepted, an invitation to visit Rumania. No date has been set. The invitation came from Rumania’s Deputy Foreign Minister Cornell Pacoste, currently visiting Israel. Golda Meir visited Bucharest as Premier in 1972 and recently revealed that President Nicolai Ceausescu sought (unsuccessfully) to set up a meeting there between her and an Arab leader.
