The premises of the Geserd, the Society for the Advancement of Jewish Colonization in Soviet Russia were raided yesterday by the police, who confiscated a number of documents.
The raid is connected with a raid conducted by the police last Tuesday on the left wing Jewish Cultural Society where thirty foreigners were arrested including the president, Neviarsky, and the representative of the Freiheit, Lev Sueskind.
The arrested are to be tried on charges of remaining in the country without permission.
The case of three others arrested was transferred to the public prosecutor.
A conference of the German Geserd scheduled for this evening, has been cancelled, the leaders fearing a second raid.
