A translation into Yiddish of the Book of Ecclesiastes has just been completed by Rabbi J. L. Zlotnik, Executive Director of the Zionist Organization of Canada.
Rabbi Zlotnik’s translation is in popular, almost colloquial Yiddish, in contrast to the literary style of Yehoash’s translation of the Bible.
Rabbi Zlotnik undertook a popular translation. He is now working on a translation of the Book of Job.
