Chile’s President Jorge Alessandri, Prime Minister Sotero Del Rio and other leaders of the Government, as well as leaders of the Chilean Jewish Community, were represented here yesterday at special rites held at the country’s oldest synagogue, Circulo Israelita, for the late Marcos Schaulsohn, who died at the age of 71. Mr. Schaulsohn was the father of Jacobo Schaulsohn, president of Chile’s Chamber of Deputies, who has at various times represented this country at the United Nations.
