National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice cited the Palestinian leader’s failure to crack down on terrorism. Rice also made reference to Arafat’s willingness to support the U.S.-led crackdown on international terrorism while supporting terror at home. “You cannot help us with Al Qaida and hug Hezbollah” and Hamas, Rice said. “That’s not acceptable.”
