President Clinton helped the Jewish National Fund raise some $1.75 million. The money will be used to help build a reservoir in the Negev Desert. The JNF centenary dinner, held Dec. 12 in London for more than 1,500 people, is believed to be the largest kosher event ever held in Britain.
