President Clinton invited about 12 presidents of U.S. Jewish groups to the White House for a meeting tentatively slated for Aug. 12 to discuss the Middle East peace process and his recent meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak. The Jewish officials are also expected to discuss U.S. policy toward Iran and Russia.
