A “get well” cable from President Johnson was received by Mrs. Charlotte Jacobson, president of Hadassah, who is recovering in Hadassah Hospital from injuries suffered in a bus accident last week near Tel Aviv. Hospital officials said today Mrs. Jacobson was making “very satisfactory progress.”
The President said in his message “I was distressed to read of your accident. Our thoughts and best wishes are with you for a quick and complete recovery.” Mrs. Jacobson, who came to Israel for a mid-winter Hadassah conference, sustained a broken collarbone and broken ribs in the accident.
