Adolph Held, chairman of the Jewish Labor Committee, was received here yesterday by President Kennedy, who accepted an invitation by Mr. Held to address a rally to be held by aged citizens in New York’s Madison Square Garden, on May 20.
The President will speak on his plan for legislation to provide medical care for the aged. Mr. Held came to see the President in his capacity as president of the Golden Ring Clubs of Senior Citizens, which will sponsor the rally. He was accompanied by Zalman Lichtenstein, secretary of the Golden Ring Clubs.
