Prof. Frederico Mongarden, president of the Argentinean Parliament, arrived in Israel today as a guest of the Speaker of the Knesset. Prof. Mongarden will visit the Knesset tomorrow, and will be received by President Ben Zvi, Prime Minister David Ben Gurion and Foreign Minister Golda Meir. He will also tour Israel during his visit.
The Organization of Latin Americans in Israel announced today that it has received from the Tel Aviv Municipality a plot of land on which the organization intends to erect a Latin American House similar to the ZOA House created by American Zionists. The House will serve as a cultural center, as well as an information and advisory center, for Latin American immigrants.
