President Izhak Ben-Zvi arrived home tonight from a week-long state visit to Burma. The President was welcomed at Lydda Airport by Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, members of the Cabinet, Knesset Speaker Nahum Nir, Chief of Staff Haim Laskov and the entire diplomatic corps.
President Ben-Zvi expressed great satisfaction with the Burma visit and noted the great friendship of Burma’s leaders and the entire Burmese Nation towards Israel.
