Mrs. Samuel Bronfman of Montreal, president of the Jewish Branch of the Canadian Red Cross, was one of the 285 civilian Canadians honored in the King’s birthday list last night. She was made an officer of the Order of the British Empire for outstanding patriotic and philanthropic work.
