Dr. Licht, president of the Zionist organization of Zagreb denied the rummers circulated in the press abroad that the Zionist movement has been suppressed under the rules issued by King Alexander in the dictatorship regime instituted in the country.
It was declared here that King Alexander has warm sympathies for the Zionist movement and for the Jewish people. The Jewish population, as the other minorities, are satisfied with the dictatorship, it was asserted. Many Jewish communities in the country have sent congratulations to the King. Chief Rabbi Alcahay, who is a friend of the King, is a frequent visitor to the Court.
