Oscar Krasnansky, president of the Zionist Organization of Czechoslovakia, has been arrested in Bratislava and removed to Prague, according to a report received here today from Prague. No reason for the action was given, the report said.
Other dispatches from the Czech capital state that the Jewish community of Prague has launched a drive to raise funds to purchase an ambulance for the Israeli Army. The Mayor of Prague has contributed 1,000 crowns to the fund. In Karlovy Vary a large Jewish meeting was held to greet Yihud Ueherall, Israeli envoy to Czechoslovakia.
