— President Reagan will retain Samuel Lewis as U.S. Ambassador to Israel, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learned Monday. Lewis was appointed to the post by President Carter on May 2, 1977. He succeeded Malcolm Toon who was transferred to Moscow.
