President Weizmann spent a quiet night according to a bulletin issued this morning by his physicians at Rehovoth. The bulletin added that the improvement noted yesterday continues and is matched by an improvement in the President’s heart functioning and blood circulation.
American Ambassador Monnet Davis and his wife today sent flowers to the President’s residence with a note to Mrs. Weizmann expressing hope for a speedy recovery for Dr. Weizmann. “We pray for his speedy recovery and hope that for many years to come he will continue to give Israel his wise counsel and inspired leadership. “the note said. Flowers were also sent the President by a party of four American Congressmen now visiting the Jewish State. British Foreign Secretary Anthony Eden today cabled the President. The message read: “I am distressed at your illness. My thoughts and deepest good wishes are with you.”
