President Yitzhak Navon has not yet received an official invitation to visit Egypt, the President’s bureau spokesman announced. Navon reportedly expressed surprise over the publication in the Cairo “October” weekly that President Anwar Sadat intended to invite him. He said he failed to understand why the publication preceded the actual invitation. However, it was stressed that if such an invitation arrived here, Navon would certainly accept it.
