Arturo Frondizi, President of Argentina, today greeted the Jewish community in this country with a special New Year message in which he paid tribute to the Jewish community in the Argentine. Noting that the Jews of Argentina this year celebrated the 100th anniversary of their first Argentine settlement, President Frondizi stated: “I have the pleasure of conveying my sentiments of friendship to this community, whose creative force has contributed toward the development of Argentina.”
