The greatest indignation was being voiced in Jewish circles here today at the decision of the highest court in Lithuania by which a Catholic priest is given the right to annul the marriage of an apostate Jew and his Jewish wife.
The convert to Catholicism sought the annulment so that he might marry a Christian woman. The court indicated that its decision was based on a concordat between Lithuania and the Vatican.
