Noah Prilutzky, Warsaw attorney and former leader of the extremist Voelkist party, has decided to withdraw from Jewish political life in Poland, following a split in the ranks of his party.
Mr. Prilutzky, who was elected to the Sejm on the ticket of the Voelkist group, announced he will resign from his seat in parliament. He will leave Poland to settle in France, he stated.
Opposition to his policy was recently manifest at a conference called in Vilna, where a considerable group of secessionists from the Voelkist party joined the newly formed Jewish Democratic Party. Charges were also made against Prilutzky in connection with the administration of a Jewish orphans home in Otwock, near Warsaw, established by the Warsaw Relief Society of New York City.
