Bo Ne Win, Prime Minister of Burma, arrived in Israel tonight for an official state visit — the second head of the Burmese Government to visit this country. In 1955, the present Premier’s predecessor, U Nu, was a guest here. Prime Minister David Ben Gurion met Mr. Ne Win at Lydda Airport, where the Burmese leader inspected a military guard of honor and took a salute as a military band played the Burmese and Israeli national anthems. They drove to Jerusalem where, as they reached the city limits, the guest of honor was welcomed officially by Mayor Gershon Agron.
