All prizes awarded at the Weaver High School this semester went to Jewish students, it has been revealed.
Seymour Podorowsky, the valedictorian, was the recipient of three major prizes, the Mary M. Hooker Scholarship Prize for the highest average in the senior year; Class of 1913, Hartford Public High School, prize for the highest average in four years of high school English, and the Alumni Latin Prize, awarded each year by the School Alumni Association to the highest ranking senior in Latin.
